Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Data Centre Programme Director to lead our data centre operations programme. The successful candidate will have a strong background in programme management, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing large-scale programmes within a data centre environment.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data centre operations, including capacity/supply/demand planning, construction, and supply chain management. They will also have experience working with engineering teams, managing cross-functional projects, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.

The Data Centre Programme Director will be responsible for leading the development of a curated project manual, documenting all Data Centre Process Enablement (DCDE) processes. They will also partner in the change management of large-scale process changes and system enablement opportunities.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively across DCDE and Google Data Center (GDC) teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the data centre operations programme, ensuring successful delivery of projects and programmes
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of data centre operations, including capacity/supply/demand planning, construction, and supply chain management
  • Manage cross-functional projects, working effectively with engineering teams and stakeholders
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including DCDE and GDC teams
  • Partner in the change management of large-scale process changes and system enablement opportunities

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in programme management, with a strong background in data centre operations
