Job Summary

- Assist in resolving issues, investigating faults, and improving repair processes
Responsibilities and Duties
- Undertake training on various hospital instrument models
- Learn essential form and functionality, with a focus on expanding into more complex repairs
- Accurately examine, test, and troubleshoot equipment for defects and issues
- Determine the best course of service or repair to restore devices to working order
- Work with equipment and machinery, including microscopes, grinders, and soldering irons
- Repair casings, flex tubing, circuitry, electronics, and machined parts
- Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures
- Support ISO goals and objectives and ensure conformance in the assigned repair lab area
- Participate in the company's lean philosophy of continuous improvement
Requirements and Qualifications
- English language proficiency
- Minimum 1 year of overall work experience
- Good hand-eye coordination and ability to handle small parts and equipment
- Precision use of hands with a full range of hand manipulation
- Attention to detail and ability to notice subtle differences
- Comfort with repetitive tasks and ability to follow instructions
- Able to read and understand detailed schematics and instructions
- Comfortable sitting, standing, and bending frequently
- Ability to follow strict procedures and processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role or environment utilizing power and hand tools
- Prior work experience in a role requiring manipulation, bending, and intricate assembly work
