Job Summary

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Undertake training on various hospital instruments
  • Learn essential form and functionality, with a focus on expanding into complex repairs
  • Accurately examine, test, and troubleshoot equipment for defects and issues
  • Determine the best course of service or repair to restore devices to working order
  • Work with equipment and machinery, including microscopes, grinders, and soldering irons
  • Repair casings, flex tubing, circuitry, electronics, and machined parts
  • Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures
  • Support ISO goals and objectives and ensure conformance in the assigned repair lab area
  • Participate in the company's lean philosophy of continuous improvement

Requirements and Qualifications

  • English language proficiency
  • Minimum 1 year of overall work experience
  • Good hand-eye coordination and precision use of hands
  • Attention to detail and ability to read and understand detailed schematics and instructions
  • Comfortable sitting, standing, and bending frequently or for extended periods
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to strict procedures and processes
