About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Project Worker at our Homelessness Service in Dereham. As a Project Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our customers who have faced homelessness to maximise their own potential and independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to encourage customers to achieve their goals and aspirations
  • Assess customers' needs and develop individualised support plans
  • Act as a first point of contact for customers and respond to their queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, ensuring their personal choice, privacy, and dignity are respected
  • Liaise with external agencies to improve customers' confidence, health, and wellbeing
  • Handle emergency situations and provide support as needed
  • Maintain accurate and high-quality records of customer interactions

Requirements

  • Experience of working with adults who have experienced homelessness
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to react quickly to changing priorities and work to deadlines
  • NVQ3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
  • Driving licence and access to a vehicle
