Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to join our team at Iberdrola Energie Deutschland GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing high-value contracts and ensuring their effective implementation.

About the Role

As a Contract Manager, you will work closely with our Projects Services, Legal, Insurance, Financial, and Group Purchasing teams to ensure contracts are managed effectively. Your responsibilities will include leading the end-to-end commercial contract cycle, developing and implementing contract strategies, and managing multi-million-pound onshore Equipment Supply and Project implementation contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement contract strategies to maximize contract value and mitigate risk
  • Manage the end-to-end commercial contract cycle, including strategy, procurement, implementation, management, and renewal phases
  • Work closely with Procurement and O&M teams to prepare detailed contract scopes for invitation to tender for designated contracts
  • Identify, manage, and deliver competitive tendering strategies to support the business' commercial and performance objectives

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a good all-round understanding of financial, commercial, and business principles and risk mitigation practices. You will also need to possess experience in leading and managing high-value, complex, and critical engineering and maintenance contracts.
