Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Contract Scotland. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in leading our cost management and quantity surveying services, working closely with our clients to deliver high-quality projects.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of Quantity Surveyors, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Develop and implement cost management strategies to ensure projects are delivered within budget and on time.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Contribute to the development of business growth strategies, identifying new opportunities and partnerships.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, ensuring our services remain competitive and compliant.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in private practice or housebuilding, with a strong understanding of Pre-Contract and Post-Contract work.
  • Chartered or working towards Chartered status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ambitious and goal-oriented, with a passion for career and business development.
  • Ability to work within a team and lead Quantity Surveyors, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
