Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Coordination: Develop and manage project timelines and schedules, coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Flatted Development Management: Oversee the technical aspects of flatted development projects, ensure compliance with building regulations and standards, collaborate with architects, engineers, and other consultants to achieve project goals.
- Pre-Construction Planning: Lead pre-construction planning and coordination activities, prepare and review technical documents, including feasibility studies and cost estimates, identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Planning and Warrant Applications: Prepare and submit planning applications and building warrant applications, liaise with local authorities and statutory bodies to obtain necessary approvals, ensure all applications comply with relevant planning policies and regulations.
- Design Consultancy Management: Manage and coordinate with design consultancies throughout the project lifecycle, review and approve design documents and drawings, ensure design solutions are practical, cost-effective, and meet client requirements.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience in technical management, particularly in flatted developments in the UK.
- Strong knowledge of planning and building regulations in Scotland.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
