CAD Design Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CAD Design Technician to join our team at Reed Engineering. As a CAD Design Technician, you will be responsible for creating design drawings for manufacturing, including 2D and 3D designs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Creating design drawings for manufacturing, including 2D and 3D designs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Working with Project Managers to establish the best design and ensuring the accuracy of the information received.
  • Developing engineering designs and progressing them to the shop floor.
  • Using proficient AutoCAD and SolidWorks skills to create engineering drawings.

Requirements:
  • Proficient AutoCAD and SolidWorks skills.
  • Excellent numerical skills and solid interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in technical and colloquial English.
  • A good base salary based on experience, £26k to £30k.
