Salary: The salary for this role is approximately £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Geotechnical Advisor to join our team in Durham. As a key member of our geoenvironmental consultancy team, you will be responsible for managing site investigations, undertaking contaminated land risk assessments, and providing technical advice to clients.

You will have postgraduate experience in geoenvironmental or geotechnical consulting and a strong academic background in a relevant subject. You will also be working towards chartership or have achieved chartership with a relevant professional body.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage site investigations and contaminated land risk assessments
  • Provide technical advice to clients on geotechnical and environmental issues
  • Develop and implement conceptual models to design and justify site investigation works
  • Undertake factual and interpretative Phase I & II assessments
  • Line manage junior staff and provide technical support and guidance

Requirements:
