About the Role

  • Assist patients undergoing ophthalmic procedures in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Prepare operating theatres and anaesthetic rooms for surgery, ensuring efficient and safe procedures.
  • Complete patient records accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Run theatre lists independently, demonstrating strong organisational and communication skills.

Requirements

  • HCPC registration as an ODP or NMC registration as a Nurse.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development, with opportunities to specialise in surgical areas and complete training courses.
