About the Role

Spire Healthcare is seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Scrub Nurse to join our bank team at our Abergele Clinic. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in assisting patients undergoing ophthalmic procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients undergoing ophthalmic procedures in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Prepare the operating theatre/anaesthetic room for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Complete patient records accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Run a theatre list without supervision, demonstrating your expertise and attention to detail.

Requirements

  • HCPC registration as an ODP or NMC registration as a Nurse.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a focus on delivering high standards of patient care.
  • A willingness to develop and progress, with opportunities to complete the surgical first assist course and specialise within the surgical areas on offer.
