Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Scrub Nurse to join our bank team at Spire Healthcare. As a key member of our surgical team, you will assist patients undergoing ophthalmic procedures and contribute to the smooth operation of our theatres.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients undergoing ophthalmic procedures, providing exceptional care and support.
  • Prepare operating theatres and anaesthetic rooms for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Complete patient records accurately and efficiently.
  • Run theatre lists independently, demonstrating strong organisational and communication skills.

Requirements

  • HCPC registration as an ODP or NMC registration as a Nurse.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development, with opportunities to complete the surgical first assist course and specialise in surgical areas.
