Job Title: Senior Instrumentation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Instrumentation Specialist to join our team at JAM Recruitment. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and modifying software for industrial control systems, working with PLC/SCADA systems to enhance operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with communication protocols such as Profibus and Modbus, along with vast knowledge in power generation or the renewable energy sector. Strong knowledge of DSEAR Requirements within Hazardous Areas (COMPEX 01-04) is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and modify software for industrial control systems
  • Experience working with PLC/SCADA systems to enhance operational efficiency
  • Knowledge and application of Industry standards and safety regulations (IEC 61508, CEFS)

This position comes with an estimated salary of £44,200 per annum, based on a 6-12 month contract duration and a location in Cambridge (Hybrid).
