Key Responsibilities:
  • Check guests in and out of the hotel, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Provide luggage assistance and issue room keys, pamphlets, and other necessary items.
  • Answer guest inquiries and arrange transportation as needed.
  • Respond to telephone, email, and in-person inquiries from clients, business partners, and other parties.
  • Book telephone reservations and compute bills, collect payment, and make change for guests.
  • Count and verify cash, shift activity, keys, gift certificates, and wireless internet cards with departing shift.
  • Print updated in-house, arrival, departure, and room status reports every two hours.
  • Check all unresolved departures and ensure the front desk is stocked with necessary items.
  • Write wake-up call requests on specified forms and enter on switchboard.
  • Complete welcome calls and clean and tidy the front desk area.
  • Refer inquiries to the appropriate individuals, divisions, or departments across the organization.
  • Present a positive and professional image of the organization to all visitors, suppliers, inquiries, and other interactions.
  • Provide information to staff and/or clients about special activities.
  • Observe and report any security issues to the Manager.
Requirements:
  • Excellent customer relations and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Adaptability to change and a willingness to learn and grow with the organization.
  • Strong time-management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
