Rowing Program Manager

About the Role:

Oxford University Boat Club seeks a highly experienced Rowing Program Manager to join their high performance coaching team. This individual will deliver a rowing program to win The Boat Race and compete at the highest level year-round.

  • The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience managing a boat fleet at high performance rowing clubs, including procurement, operating a cyclical boat replacement plan, boat upkeep, and equipment hire.
  • They will also manage towing vehicles, trailers, minibuses, and launches, including maintenance, servicing, training, driving, and procurement.
  • Facility management of a high-performance rowing centre is essential, including boat house, gym, accommodation, and office space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the boat fleet, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Oversee facility management, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for athletes.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including the Boat Race Company, to ensure successful event administration.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
