Lead Cost Engineer

Mace is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Cost Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Integrated Project Controls function, you will be responsible for leading the establishment, development, and maintenance of timely and accurate cost data and reports.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement cost management strategies to ensure accurate and timely cost data and reports.
- Lead and manage a team of cost engineers and analysts to ensure effective cost management and reporting.
- Collaborate with other disciplines of integrated project controls and project support functions to deliver project goals.
- Develop and maintain cost systems and reports to support project objectives.
- Ensure alignment of cost data with other project disciplines and stakeholders.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on cost management and reporting to project teams and stakeholders.
- Proven experience in cost management and project controls in a major construction project.
- Leadership experience and ability to manage a team of cost engineers and analysts.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with ability to understand and interpret complex cost data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build relationships with project stakeholders.
- Professionally qualified with chartered or equivalent status.
- Minimum of a degree in engineering, construction, quantity surveying, or another related field.
