Polytec Personnel Ltd is seeking a Sales Engineer specializing in Chemistry. The successful candidate will oversee a significant territory ranging from Northern Scotland to Mid Wales, including Northern Ireland. Ideally, the candidate will be centrally located within the Scottish Border region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivating and sustaining profitable sales within the designated territory
  • Identifying new business prospects and managing the complete sales process
  • Nurturing and enhancing relationships through organized site visits and effective communication with existing and potential clients
  • Executing on-site sales presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions
  • Managing customer relationship management (CRM) systems
  • Coordinating and participating in onsite mini-exhibitions and symposiums

Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Pharmaceutical, CRO, Biotech, BioPharma, Research, and Chemical industries
  • Demonstrated success in achieving or surpassing sales objectives
  • A degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Familiarity with products related to process and organic chemistry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM software
  • Valid UK driving license.
