Job Summary:

Polytec Personnel Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining profitable sales within a large territory stretching from Northern Scotland to Mid Wales, including Northern Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain profitable sales within your territory
  • Develop new business opportunities and manage the sales cycle
  • Maintain and develop relationships with current and potential customers through structured site visits and communications
  • Conduct on-site sales visits, product demonstrations, and training
  • Manage CRM systems
  • Organize and attend onsite mini-exhibitions and symposiums

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and familiarity with the Pharmaceutical, Contract Research Organization (CRO), Biotechnology, BioPharma, Research, and Chemical sectors
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
  • Familiarity with products in process and organic chemistry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Full UK driving license
