As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality in-patient care to adults with mental health conditions.

You will work closely with a highly specialist multi-disciplinary team, including Specialty Doctors, Clinical Psychologists, Nurses, Support Workers, and an Occupational Therapist.

Key responsibilities include managing inpatient admissions, team meetings, and supervision of team members.

You will have the opportunity to join the Trust-wide consultant network and access peer support from colleagues in East Sussex.

Requirements:

* MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
* Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research, or management
* Excellent clinical skills using a bio-psycho-social perspective and wide medical knowledge
* Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.

Recruitment and Retention Payment:

This job attracts a Recruitment and Retention payment of £25,000, in addition to (up to) £8000 relocation allowance.

Relocation Allowance:

* £5000 payment paid on appointment
* £5000 retention payment paid at 12 month anniversary of employment
* £6500 retention payment paid at 30 month anniversary of employment
* £8500 retention payment paid at 48 month anniversary of employment

The Recruitment and Retention payment is pro rata for part-time employees.
