Exciting Opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our East Sussex Care Delivery Service, working in the integrated inpatient and liaison services for Older Peoples Mental Health in Hastings.

About the Role

The post holder will work closely with Senior Managers and other consultants to contribute towards local service development, providing quality mental health care and treatment for patients with severe and enduring mental illness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to local service development and provide quality mental health care and treatment for patients with severe and enduring mental illness.
  • Work closely with Senior Managers and other consultants to achieve service goals.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs.
Person Specification

We are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist with:

  • Basic Medical Training and Full GMC/UK Registration.
  • MRC Psych or equivalent qualification.
  • CST and entry onto the GMC Specialist Register expected within 6 months.
  • Section 12 approval and AC approval.
