Job Overview

Boeing is seeking an experienced Equipment Calibration Analyst/Planner to join our team in Sheffield, UK. This role will be responsible for organizing and planning the service and calibration of precision dimensional, optical alignment, measurement tools, instruments, and test equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with external suppliers to ensure precision measurement tools and instruments are fit for purpose at point of use in line with the production schedule.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to provide information regarding adherence to scheduled activities and collect accurate data.
  • Perform elementary analysis using developed tools and maintain records per record retention guidelines.
  • Provide information to develop and continuously improve calibration and maintenance procedures.
  • Interface with technical personnel to collect, compile, complete, and prepare engineering reports and graphs to assist management in planning, scheduling, forecasting, and budgeting activities.

Requirements

  • Customer support or customer service experience.
  • Experience in a Technical or Quality support role in a highly regulated manufacturing company such as Aerospace, Medical or Oil & Gas.
  • Familiarity with a calibration recall system.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Familiarity with Mechanical and/or dimensional Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE) such as Micrometers, vernier Calipers, Height Gauges.
  • Motivated problem solver with 2 or more years' experience using Microsoft and other office computing systems.
  • Experience of developing processes utilizing SAP or other ERP/MRP systems.
  • Ability to adapt to changing work tasks and work environment.
  • Commitment to personal learning and development.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
