Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with external suppliers to ensure precision dimensional, optical alignment, measurement tools, instruments, and test equipment and systems are calibrated and maintained in line with production schedules.
  • Communicate with internal and external suppliers to provide information on scheduled activities, collect and log accurate data, and maintain records in accordance with record retention guidelines.
  • Perform elementary analysis using developed tools and provide information to develop and continuously improve calibration and maintenance procedures.
  • Interface with technical personnel to collect, compile, complete, and prepare engineering reports and graphs to assist management in planning, scheduling, forecasting, and budgeting activities.

Requirements:

  • Customer support or customer service experience
  • Experience in a Technical or Quality support role in a highly regulated manufacturing company such as Aerospace, Medical or Oil & Gas
  • Familiarity with a calibration recall system
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Familiarity with Mechanical and/or dimensional Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE) such as Micrometers, vernier Calipers, Height Gauges, etc.
  • Motivated problem solver with 2 or more years' experience using Microsoft and other office computing systems
  • Experience of developing processes utilizing SAP or other ERP/MRP systems
  • Ability to adapt to new work structures, processes, requirements, and/or cultures
  • Interest in personal learning and development, seeking feedback and modifying behavior based on feedback or self-analysis of past mistakes
  • Ability to work as a member of a team, demonstrating effective communication and teamwork skills
