In the role of Customer Equipment Support Engineer at Briggs Equipment Ltd, you will be tasked with assessing customer needs at their premises, determining work requirements, and prioritizing tasks accordingly. Your primary focus should be on ensuring safe working practices to avoid accidents and maintain efficient equipment operation.

Responsibilities involve collaborating with the operations team and customers to discuss project specifics, timelines, and associated costs. When equipment fails, it's essential to analyze the cause, acquire replacement parts, and allocate necessary resources promptly. This position necessitates strict adherence to established engineering standards and manufacturer specifications.

Other key duties include conducting equipment inspections post-repair, verifying its safety and satisfactory condition, and suggesting any additional work required. Correctly documenting all maintenance activities is vital. We require applicants who possess relevant technical qualifications, previous experience in similar roles, and a strong comprehension of mechanical systems.

The estimated annual salary for this position is up to £36,209. Overtime is paid at x1.5 from Monday to Saturday and x2 on Sunday, offering increased earning possibilities. Additionally, you will have access to a company vehicle for private use (taxes to be paid personally) as part of your remuneration package. Our organization also invests in future professional growth opportunities and contributes up to 6% towards our pension plan.
