About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a school setting and make a positive impact on the lives of students with SEN. As a teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and helping students reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:
  1. Main­tain­ing clas­sroom equip­ment and ensur­ing a safe and tidy envi­ron­ment.
  2. Con­tribut­ing to record-keep­ing by record­ing obser­va­tions of pupils dur­ing the school day.
  3. Com­mu­ni­cat­ing with teach­ers and oth­er staff mem­bers about stu­dent progress.
  4. Pro­mot­ing inclu­sion and encour­ag­ing par­tic­i­pa­tion in learn­ing activ­i­ties.
Requirements:
  • Expe­rience work­ing with chil­dren and young peo­ple.
  • Ability to com­mu­ni­cate effect­ive­ly with teach­ers, par­ents, and students.
Working Conditions:

The suc­cess­ful can­di­date will work in a busy school set­ting with a vari­ety of sta­fes includ­ing teach­ers, admin asso­ciates, ther­a­pists and nurs­es. They will also receive reg­u­lar sup­port from man­age­ment and col­leagues. Work­ing con­di­tions may vary depend­ing on the school site and envi­ron­ment but will always pro­vide the nec­es­sary facil­i­ties to ensure employ­ees can per­form their duties safely.

Estimated salary: £83.85 - £95 per day

Please note that pay rates quot­ed will be in­clu­sive of 12.07% statu­tory hol­i­day pay. This adver­tisement is for a tem­po­rary posi­tion. In some cas­es, the option to make this role per­ma­nent may become avail­able at a lat­er date.
