Job Title: Senior Mechanical Project Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team in the Rochester area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical project engineering and experience working on projects within the water industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with project management and coordination
  • Produce contract programmes and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Liaise with site management on design and procurement
  • Prepare construction completion and take over documents
  • Coordinate technical aspects of projects
  • Challenge stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Work closely with the Project Quantity Surveyor to generate cost plans
Requirements:
  • Project engineering experience
  • Experience of delivering projects using NEC3 forms of contract
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in a construction-related discipline
  • APMP or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience within the water treatment industry (non-infrastructure)
  • Previous mechanical project engineering background
Desirable Skills:
  • Ambitious and dynamic personality
  • MEICA/Civil works multi-disciplined interfacing
  • Experience of working on water industry construction projects, preferably with large and complex deliveries
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality results
