We are seeking an experienced Transport Compliance Specialist to oversee compliance across our business, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance. This role provides an excellent opportunity to manage our fleet compliance while leading improvements in all aspects of transport operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy and compliant with legal standards
  • Maintain safety protocols and effectively manage budgets
  • Oversee driver performance and implement initiatives to reduce insurance claims
  • Enforce health and safety procedures and implement safety improvements

Requirements:

  • Valid UK Driving Licence
  • Member of the Institute of Logistics and Transport or other professional qualification in a Fleet related discipline (Desirable)
  • Good understanding of relevant SHEs and transport legislation, associated codes of practice and other guidance
  • Extensive knowledge of Government VOL Operator Licence system and Operator Licence compliance
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles and tools
