We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver excellent patient care under the supervision of registered practitioners
- Provide hands-on personal care, including washing, toileting, and assisting with eating and drinking
- Monitor patients' conditions and provide support where necessary
- Contribute to the overall assessment of patients by measuring and recording height, weight, and body mass index (BMI)
- Assist with taking specimens from patients for ward or laboratory testing
- Contribute to clear and concise paper and electronic patient documentation
- 27 days annual leave for new starters, rising to 29 days after five years of service and 33 days after 10 years of service, plus 8 Bank Holidays (pro-rata for part-time staff)
