About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Thorpe Hall Hospice. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals living with life-limiting conditions, as well as their families.

Main Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with individuals and their families, providing emotional support and empathy.
  • Assist with the administration of medication, adhering to policy guidelines.
  • Carry out domestic duties as agreed in the care plan, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment.
  • Encourage and support mobility, adhering to moving and handling guidelines.
  • Assist with nutritional needs, as per the nutritional assessment.
