About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse to join our team as a Lung Health Check Nurse. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a pioneering program that aims to improve lung health outcomes for patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality nurse-led Targeted Lung Health Check (TLHC) clinics, assessing patients against set risk criteria and referring on to Low-Dose CT as required.
  • Provide excellent nursing skills in respiratory assessment and smoking cessation advice as part of the lung health check.
  • Work autonomously with the wider TLHC team to deliver a seamless patient experience.
  • Support the Team Lead with clinical administration duties and contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the program.
  • Provide mentorship and supervision to junior team members and engage in audit and information collection as required.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with current registration and a valid NMC PIN.
  • Experience in respiratory care and lung health check procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in using electronic patient records and other relevant systems.
