About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Regional Contract Manager to join our team at The Guinness Partnership in London on a permanent basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the efficient and cost-effective delivery of sub-contract works across the South West region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end process from ordering to payment, ensuring commercial pricing structures are in place to deliver value for money.
  • Ensure contractors are compliant with their contract specifications, maintaining high standards of quality and service.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external contractors, fostering a collaborative environment to drive successful project outcomes.
  • Produce accurate costs submissions, valuations, and provide margin analysis on works, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Travel across the region, utilizing a full driving license to ensure timely and effective delivery of services.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing external contractors, with a strong understanding of construction industry processes, frameworks, and ways of working.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage a varied workload to meet agreed timescales.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to produce accurate and timely reports.
  • Experience in the social housing sector, with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within this field.
