The London Borough of Croydon is seeking a dedicated Child and Family Specialist to join their team. As a Social Worker / Advanced Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in delivering excellence in social work practice with families.

This is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families in Croydon, a vibrant and culturally diverse community. You will be part of a small locality service that brings together professionals working with children who are subject to child protection plans, children in need, and Children Looked After.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Building relationships with families to create positive change
  • Identifying and working with family strengths to achieve better outcomes
  • Managing complex cases with empathy and professionalism

You will be working directly with children, young people, and their families, evidencing multi-agency partnerships and a robust understanding of thresholds of need. Your experience in statutory settings is desirable, but not essential.
