As an Index Sales Specialist at Bloomberg, you will guide the design, adoption, and education of our Index products within sell-side firms. You will build senior-level relationships with key decision-makers to provide consultative, commercially focused index solutions.

Your responsibilities include building and maintaining client relationships, conducting discussions regarding index methodologies and new product development, increasing client awareness and adoption of our indices, leading internal and external training sessions, and working with clients throughout the sales process.

To succeed in this role, you should have experience in the index landscape, index solution design, and index data usage within sell-side firms. Additionally, you should have experience working in or selling index products to sell-side firms or designing quantitative index solutions (QIS) or Structured Retail Products.

You will also need to analyze prospects and competitors to position unique, relevant index solutions and possess a high-level understanding of derivative usage and payouts within indices. A commercial mindset and ability to exceed sales metrics are crucial for success in this role.

We offer a competitive salary between $100,000 - $150,000 per year, based on your skills and qualifications. This figure may vary depending on location, but we strive to ensure our compensation is fair and reflective of market standards.
