Administrative Officer

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join our team at HM Courts and Tribunals Service. As an Administrative Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the justice system across England and Wales, as well as non-devolved tribunals in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage court and tribunal documents, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide administrative support to court staff, including photocopying, filing, and data entry.
- Assist with the preparation of meeting rooms, training courses, and other group activities.
- Draft standard letters and correspondence, minutes, notes, reports, and submissions.
- Support the listing and rota management process, ensuring papers and materials are available and up to date.
- Handle counter, written, and telephone enquiries, providing a helpful and prompt service to our customers.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the effective operation of the court and tribunal system.
Requirements
- Strong customer focus and service skills.
- Experience of working in an administrative role in a customer-focused environment.
- Proficient with IT and Microsoft software packages.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
