Cloud Security Architect for Public Sector Solutions

At Amazon, we are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Architect to join our Public Sector Solutions team in Singapore. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering architecture guidance, leading proof-of-concept projects, and conducting customer workshops.
About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work with customers and partners to address security and compliance challenges. You will own the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects, work cross-organizationally to facilitate widespread use and adoption of the AWS platform, and develop a deep expertise in the AWS technologies and broad know-how around how applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver architecture guidance to customers and partners on cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Lead proof-of-concept projects to demonstrate cloud security solutions and conduct customer workshops to educate and train customers on cloud security concepts.
- Drive collaboration with customers and partners to address security and compliance challenges.
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience in security and compliance, with a strong understanding of customer security/compliance requirements.
- 6+ years of experience in technology architecture, consulting, cloud architecture, or related fields.
- Ability to create proof of concepts, demos, and/or scripts from scratch or leveraging reusable components.
- Leadership skills to take the lead on complex technical projects and collaborate with other teams to deliver results.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to create technical content that is easily adopted and reusable by others.
- AWS or other technical cloud certifications.
- Executive speaking and presentation skills – formal presentations, white-boarding, large and small group presentations.
- Dynamism and creativity to adapt to high degrees of change and uncertainty.
- Passion for educating, training, designing, and building cloud computing systems for diverse and challenging customers.
- Past experience working as presales and keeping existing technical skills up-to-date.
As a Cloud Security Architect at Amazon, you can expect a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications.
