Job Title: Deputy Director of Estates and Facilities

MMP Consultancy is seeking a highly experienced Deputy Director of Estates and Facilities to join an NHS Trust in Essex. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary of 107k per annum.

About the Role

This is a senior leadership position that requires the successful candidate to have overarching responsibility for the safety, security, and management of the built environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing major change, financial control, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement the Trust's estate strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  2. Manage capital projects, including redevelopment and major infrastructure planning, to deliver value for money.
  3. Oversee all aspects of estates management, facilities management, and commercial services, ensuring statutory compliance and governance.
  4. Lead the development of a high-performing team to deliver the duties and responsibilities outlined above.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have significant senior management experience in estates and facilities within a large organisation, with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent leadership and communication skills, able to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
