Role Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our Urgent Care Team at The Royal Oldham Hospital.

The role encompasses undertaking assessments of undifferentiated patients attending the Emergency Department using a range of different assessment and management methods, including physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and advanced health needs assessments.

This post holder will be expected to work on the ACP rota, following a 24-hour rotational pattern, which includes weekends and nights.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with medical, nursing, and allied health professional colleagues within hospital and community settings to meet patient needs and deliver high standards of individual care in accordance with the Trust's values and quality strategy.

The ACP will provide professional and clinical leadership and support the lead ACP in developing the ACP workforce and delivering the workforce strategy across emergency medicine.
