Job Description:

This Principal Teacher Curriculum (PTC) post is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher to lead and manage school improvement in our Science Faculty. The successful candidate will support the PTC Science (Tier 1) to contribute to the strategic vision for the Science faculty, the school, and work with stakeholders to implement and pursue objectives set in policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage school improvement at strategic and operational levels.
  • Contribute to the development of a self-improving system across the education community.
  • Support the PTC Science (Tier 1) to implement and pursue objectives set in policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High levels of interpersonal skills and abilities to work as a member of the senior leadership team.
  • Full General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) registration.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional learning and development.
