At STERIS, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Device Repair Specialist. As a key member of our repair team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our medical devices and instruments.
Key Responsibilities- Examine and test medical devices and instruments to identify defects and issues
- Perform repairs and maintenance on a wide range of medical equipment, including surgical instruments and endoscopes
- Work with a variety of tools and equipment, including microscopes, grinders, sanders, and soldering irons
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve repair processes
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety
- 1+ year of experience in a similar role or environment
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
- Ability to read and understand detailed schematics and instructions
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
