Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Commodities Sector Lead to join our editorial team. As a seasoned Editor with a strong background in the commodities space, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, maintaining quality of market price assessments, and ensuring adherence to rigorous compliance standards.

About the Company

Argus Media is a leading independent media organization providing news, analysis, and price information to commodities and energy markets. We employ almost 500 journalists worldwide and have 30 offices in various regions. Our data is used by companies in 140 countries as benchmarks in financial derivative markets and for analysis purposes.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations within a commodities sector, ensuring successful production of all content
  • Maintain quality of market price assessments and adhere to rigorous compliance standards
  • Liaise with senior editorial management, executives, and Compliance staff to ensure continuity of messaging and best practices
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Educated to bachelor's degree from a leading university
  • Previous experience as an Editor in the commodities space, recruiting, training, motivating, and managing a team
  • Deep experience in at least one commodity with the ability to transfer knowledge across multiple markets
Salary and Benefits

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a company bonus scheme, group pension scheme, group healthcare and life assurance scheme, flexible working environment, 25 days holiday with annual increase up to 30 days, subsidised gym membership, season ticket travel loans, cycle to work scheme, and extensive internal and external training.
