Senior Project Manager - Software Delivery

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Project Manager to join our fast-paced delivery team at Dunstan Thomas Group. This role will report directly to the COO and offers exceptional career development opportunities for the right candidate.

The Senior Project Manager will manage a team responsible for delivery of a significant strategic programme of work to a large financial platform utilising Dunstan Thomas software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Management: Understand the business requirements for the project and define the deliverables, resource requirements and plan to deliver the project.
  • Team Management: Set project priorities and manage, monitor and motivate the internal delivery team(s) to ensure effective delivery of the project to time, cost and quality expectations of both the customer and Dunstan Thomas.
  • Risk Management: Actively manage key project risks, issues and dependencies, and ensure project delivery to contractual terms and conditions.
  • Communication: Lead both customer and internal meetings including requirements workshops, project progress meetings, Stand-Ups, Sprint Planning, Show and Tells and Retrospectives.
  • Documentation: Prepare standard project documentation such as RAID logs, project plans, reports, revenue/cost forecasts vs actuals, change requests and statements of work.
  • Financial Management: Management of monthly customer invoices and reports.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree educated.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of project management experience managing multiple projects.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in both the software and financial services industries.
  • Agile Expertise: Solid background in Agile software development and delivery principles, and using Agile project tools such as Azure DevOps.
  • Investment Industry Knowledge: Some knowledge of the Investments / Pensions / Savings industry.
