u&i Search is seeking a highly motivated and organized Graduate Assistant Buyer to join their team. As a key member of the buying team, you will be responsible for supporting the development of new products and managing existing product lines.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the critical path planner for new product development, ensuring timely delivery of samples and products.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, resolving issues and escalating concerns as necessary.
- Work closely with the merchandising and brand management teams to ensure product approvals and delivery dates are met.
- Design and create bespoke barcoding for key customers.
- Conduct competitive shopping analysis and provide input into commercial pricing strategy.
- Develop seasonal range strategies based on competitor analysis and provide suggestions for new product development.
- Provide graphic support to the brand manager and assist with marketing and photoshoots as required.
- Deliver selling tools to support the agent network, including product catalogues and sales prospecting packs.
- Market and industry knowledge, with a creative and innovative approach.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Commercially astute, with good Excel skills and the ability to prepare data for product meetings.
- Passion for product and an entrepreneurial approach.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues.
- Salary depending on experience.
