Product Development Coordinator

Role Overview

The Assistant Buyer will play a critical role in the development and implementation of our fashion accessories product line. This position will be responsible for managing the critical path of new product development, ensuring timely delivery of samples and products to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the sample library and ensure that all samples are properly stored and maintained.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers to resolve any issues that may arise and escalate as necessary to the wider team.
  • Work closely with the Merchandiser and Brand Manager to ensure that all samples and product components are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
  • Design and create bespoke barcoding for key customers.
  • Conduct competitive shopping analysis to inform commercial pricing strategy and provide input into the seasonal range strategy.
  • Provide graphic support to the Brand Manager and assist with marketing and photoshoots as required.
  • Responsible for the successful delivery of selling tools to support our agent network.

Requirements

  • Market and industry knowledge with a creative and innovative approach.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office is desirable.
  • Commercially astute with good Excel skills and ability to prepare data to support product meetings.
  • Passion for product and entrepreneurial approach with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues.
