We are seeking a skilled interpreter to join our team of freelance linguists. As a freelancer, you will have the flexibility to choose your assignments and work at your own pace.

Language Empire provides professional interpreting and translation services to the public and private sectors across the UK. We are looking for an interpreter who can work in various settings, including the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation, and other public and private organisations.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to interpret with 100% accuracy. You will also need to be able to work with confidential information and liaise between service users and providers.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English and another language
  • All applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • You must be aged 21 or over
  • Formal qualifications such as Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI), Community Interpreting, NRPSI, CIOL, ITI registered is advantageous
  • Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages
  • Any other interpreting related qualification
