As a Shift Manager with German Doner Kebab, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our restaurant, maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of our business.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Action key performance indicators set by the Restaurant Manager to drive sales growth and profitability
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve marketing activities, such as promotional events and discount schemes
  • Prepare detailed reports at the end of each shift/week, including staff control, food control, wastage, and sales
  • Create and execute plans for departmental sales, profit, and staff development
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and coordinate all aspects of stock deliveries
  • Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure conformance to established German Doner Kebab standards
  • Provide training and ongoing support to staff members, ensuring they are well-groomed and smart ready for work
  • Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, sanitation, health, and safety in accordance with German Doner Kebab policies
  • Ensure excellent customer service and resolve any customer queries or complaints efficiently
  • Demonstrate proper usage of equipment and adhere to Health, Safety, and Fire regulations
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue, knowledge of ingredients, and cooking methods to provide exceptional customer experiences
  • Prepare duty rosters, monitor temperature records, and arrange store maintenance when required
  • Sustain equal opportunities and maintain cash/credit card security
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
