Airwave Handset Specialist

Adecco UK LTD is currently recruiting for an Airwave Handset Specialist to work at Gwent Police headquarters in Cwmbran. This is a temporary ongoing position working 37 hours a week from Monday to Friday.
As an Airwave Handset Specialist, you will be responsible for configuring and operating specialist radio programming equipment, ensuring accurate data entry and maintenance on the system. You will also assist in producing written guidance for asset users and terminal custodians.
This role requires a strong understanding of radio systems and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will work closely with the Airwave System Manager and other team members to ensure seamless delivery of services.
The estimated salary for this role is £30,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience. Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
To succeed in this role, you will need to take reasonable care of your own and others' safety and participate in regular Performance Development Reviews.
