We Manage Jobs (WMJobs) is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Children's Home Cook to join our team in Staffordshire. As a key member of our residential service, you will play a vital role in providing nutritious meals for children with disabilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment, planning menus, and preparing home-cooked meals that cater to diverse dietary needs. You will work closely with our specialist teams to ensure that our young people receive the best possible care and support.

This part-time position offers a competitive salary of £25,000 per annum, reflecting the challenging nature of the role. Working hours will vary between 9am and 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and prepare healthy meals for children with disabilities, taking into account their individual needs and preferences.
  • Work collaboratively with our specialist teams to ensure that our young people receive the best possible care and support.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Must be passionate about providing high-quality meals that promote healthy eating habits.
  • Should have experience working in a residential setting, preferably with children with disabilities.
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
