Part-time Cook for Children's Disability Services

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced part-time cook to join our team at Staffordshire County Council. As a Residential Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking nutritious meals for children with disabilities in a residential setting.
Job SummaryThis is a part-time role (20 hours per week) that requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. The successful candidate will have experience in cooking and meal planning, with a focus on meeting the dietary needs of individuals with varying requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook meals that meet the nutritional needs of residents with varying dietary requirements.
- Plan menus and order food within budget constraints.
- Support residents in developing independent living skills, such as meal planning and preparation.
- Proven cooking experience, preferably in a residential or similar setting.
- Ability to plan and prepare meals for individuals with different dietary needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
