Job Overview

As a Senior Clinical Pharmacist, you will be responsible for covering medical wards and ensuring the smooth delivery of patient care. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable recruitment agency like Sanctuary Personnel Ltd and utilize your expertise in pharmacy settings.

This locum pharmacist position requires you to work 22.5 hours per week on Tuesday to Thursday. You will be paid £35-£40 per hour, estimated based on title, job description, and location.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Cover medical wards to ensure efficient patient care.
  • Reconcile medicines accurately and efficiently.
  • Screen drug charts for any discrepancies or concerns.
  • Validate TTAs as required by the hospital.


Requirements:
  • You must hold GPHC Registration.
  • Previous experience working as a Pharmacist in a UK-based NHS Pharmacy setting is essential.
  • NVQ or equivalent – Pharmacist qualification is mandatory.
  • It is crucial that you have previous experience covering medical wards within acute hospitals.
