Job Summary

TPF Recruitment, a leading provider of accountancy talent in the South East, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a reputable firm of chartered accountants. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring their financial needs are met.
  • Lead a team of bookkeepers and management accountants, overseeing data processing and ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare statutory financial statements and audit files for client auditors, maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.
  • Contribute to the practice's growth and development, building and maintaining a strong client base and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Develop and allocate work to junior team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.

Requirements

  • Qualified senior accountant with experience in managing a portfolio of clients.
  • Previous experience in accounts and outsourcing, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
  • Proficient in IT systems and emerging technologies, with a strong understanding of financial software and tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong technical capability in accounting and taxation, with a deep understanding of financial principles and practices.
