The People Business Partner will play a pivotal role in driving strategic human resources initiatives and fostering a culture of excellence within the Not for Profit sector. Based in Stoke on Trent, this role offers a unique blend of challenges and growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert HR guidance and support to the leadership team, ensuring alignment with the organization's overall strategy.
  • Lead and manage a high-performing team within the Human Resources Department, driving results through effective leadership and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement innovative HR initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention, and productivity.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, and other issues in a fair and timely manner.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process, ensuring the best talent is attracted and retained.
  • Support business needs through the development and management of talent, identifying and addressing skill gaps.
  • Assess training needs and monitor training programs, ensuring employees have the skills required to excel in their roles.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of employment legislation, ensuring compliance and minimizing risk.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to drive results and achieve business objectives.
